Composed by John Greaves and Eric Daniel and performed by great musicians of the current jazz scene, Melancholia is a surprising, mysterious and intimate jazzy album. The songs that compose it explore a wide range of atmospheres, sometimes hazy, arty, even Gainsbourian, sometimes melancholic, peaceful and suspended. Each title offers an alternative version, in which the texts of Lois Blanca give way to the Airelle Besson's trumpet, for delicate and highly cinematic re-interpretations.
